Materials & Leather

Classic Monogram Coated Canvas

The main body is crafted from Monogram coated canvas, constructed with a woven cotton-linen base finished with a protective resin coating.

This gives the material its lightweight feel while providing good everyday durability, abrasion resistance and light water resistance.

Monogram Empreinte leather

Monogram Empreinte versions are crafted from textured embossed cowhide rather than canvas, with the signature pattern pressed directly into the leather for a more dimensional and refined finish.

Natural Vegetable-Tanned Leather Trim

The handles, top trim and side drawstring details feature natural vegetable-tanned cowhide.

When new, the leather has a light natural beige tone. With exposure to air and regular use, it gradually develops a deeper honey-caramel patina, giving each piece its own individual character over time.

Natural pores, grain and subtle growth marks may be visible on the leather and are part of its natural characteristics. Contact with rain, oils and strongly dyed materials should be avoided where possible.

Interior Lining

Finished with a striped textile lining designed for both comfort and everyday durability.

Hardware

Finished with polished gold-tone brass hardware, including:

Side drawstring fittings
D-rings
Zipper pulls
Zipper teeth and metal accessories

The hardware has a soft polished gold-tone finish.

With regular use, friction and prolonged contact with perspiration, perfume or cosmetics may gradually cause minor surface wear or colour changes. These are normal signs of use.
